Dr. Thomas is a native Texan.

She received her B.A. in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. She received her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Following completion of her residency training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Amarillo, Dr. Thomas joined the faculty as an associate professor where she educated residents and medical students in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Thomas understands the particular health care needs and concerns of women, and she has the expertise to diagnose and treat the health problems that are specific to women. She believes that she and her patients are team members – making healthcare decisions together based on the options of care available and the desires of the patient.

Dr. Thomas is married to her high school sweetheart. She enjoys trying out new spas, traveling and relaxing at home with her husband Jeff.
