Hormone Balance for Women
One of Biote’s goals is balancing hormones in women, and we have created a Method of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) that many patients have reported has improved their overall health and wellbeing. BHRT involves the use of hormone pellets that are inserted subcutaneously to balance female hormones. Learn about our process and how patients have experienced wellness with optimized hormones here!*
What Is the Goal of Hormone Optimization Therapy in Women?
When female hormone levels are balanced, an individual may experience a greatly improved quality of life. In addition to feeling great, Biote Certified Providers have found that balancing hormones in women may help relieve uncomfortable conditions and symptoms associated with hormone imbalance.*
What Is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy?
The Biote Method of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) for women may begin to balance the female hormones of a patient in as few as two to four weeks. But every woman is different, and some may require additional insertions for her body to dial in and experience the best results. Biote providers tailor each patient’s dosing to their unique needs and hormone levels. BHRT uses bioidentical hormones, which closely mimic the hormones normally present within the body. BHRT is designed to be biologically identical to our body’s hormones.*
What Can a Patient Expect From BHRT?
The process for considering, obtaining, monitoring, and continuing BHRT is typically the same for all patients. A new patient will normally schedule a consultation with a local Biote Certified Provider. To consider the patient’s candidacy, the provider will request comprehensive hormone testing and lab work. The next appointment will be to review the test results and determine if the patient is a candidate. If so, they can get a BHRT pellet inserted the same day or on their next visit.
How Can a Patient Get Started With Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy?
You can get started with BHRT today by finding and contacting a local Biote Certified Provider using our Find a Provider tool. We have thousands of providers in our nationwide network ready to help you optimize your hormones.
