Emily Duncan is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and the medical director and co-owner of Elle Skin & Beauty Co., where she has honed her expertise in aesthetics. With a strong background in family medicine since 2015, Emily’s journey was fueled by her passion for preventive medicine & dermatology.

Emily’s commitment to providing an exceptional skincare experience is well-recognized, and she stands as a trusted authority in the field. She also contributes to the field’s advancement by serving as faculty for the 2023 Kentucky Medical Aesthetic Providers (KMAP) organization, where she plays a pivotal role in educating and ensuring safety standards in Kentucky’s aesthetic industry.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Simmons College. She previously worked as a registered nurse in the emergency department and trauma ICU at the University of Kentucky from 2010 to 2015. She also worked as a primary care family nurse practitioner from 2015 to 2022.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Emily leads a fulfilling life outside of her practice. She shares her passion for adventure with her husband, Andrew, and their three children, Nathan, Laura Kate, and Jay, exploring the world through RV camping, hiking, and travel. In her downtime, she enjoys attending St. Pius, hanging out with neighbors, and watching the UK Wildcats and Cincinnati Bengals football games.
