Carmen Jackson is a long time resident of Waycross. After graduating from high school she received her LPN degree from OTC, ADN from South GA College, then her BSN degree from South GA State College. She worked for 18 years in the Emergency Department with the last 10 years as the Shift Care Coordinator (Charge Nurse). Carmen then continued her schooling at South University where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Carmen is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She also practiced as an FNP with EmCare and Applecare.

Carmen and her husband, Johnny, live in Waycross. They have four daughters and three grandchildren. Carmen enjoys crocheting, reading, shopping, traveling, and most importantly being a grandmother to the grandkids.

Tammy Wiggins, FNP

Tammy Wiggins has been a lifelong resident of Ware County, Ga. and enjoys serving this community in the role as a Nurse Practitioner. Tammy’s desire is to take her years of experience and make an impact on the overall health of the Ware County Community. She has been happily married for 29 years and the mother of twin daughters. She is a grandmother of 2 and feels this is her most amazing gift. She loves doing anything with her grandchildren and having the opportunity to see the world through their eyes.

Tammy obtained her associate degree as a Registered Nurse at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia (2010). She then obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at South University in Savannah, Georgia (2013). She went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University (2022). She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She worked for 21 years as an emergency room nurse. She has Cath lab experience at Memorial Satilla Health and has also worked at Satilla Advocacy as a nurse for almost 2 years.
