Tracey Lemon-Sams, MD

Born and raised in Atlanta, Tracey R. Lemon-Sams, MD, FACOG,

is a board-certified OB/GYN and founder of the Georgia Center for Women, with locations in Atlanta, Emory Midtown, and Morrow, Georgia. Continuing her commitment to the Georgia community, Dr. Lemon-Sams offers patients a wide range of obstetrics and gynecology services for improving and managing their health. Dr. Lemon-Sams is also experienced with robotic surgical systems like the minimally invasive da Vinci Surgical System.

Dr. Lemon-Sams received her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. After completing her undergraduate studies, she went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree from Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Lemon-Sams began her medical career with a residency at Tulane University Hospital & Clinic in New Orleans.

Dr. Lemon-Sams is also a researcher, serving as principal investigator at Georgia Center for Research. She performs clinical trials and tests the safety and effectiveness of new drugs and medical technologies. Dr. Lemon-Sams is also a speaker for Takeda Pharmaceuticals and lends her expertise to medical students as a clinical advisor and instructor.

Dr. Lemon-Sams has received awards for her commitment to the health care industry including the Alma Wells Givens Award and the Atlanta Medical Association Award. As a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she continues to pursue industry knowledge to provide the best care to her patients.

Outside the office, Dr. Lemon-Sams spends much of her time boating with her family, including her two sons, Parker and Payton.
