Hello, I’m Dr. Deisy Prieto, but I prefer to be called Deisy, and it’s a pleasure to introduce myself and my family to you. My medical journey has been an incredible adventure, fueled by a deep-seated passion for medicine instilled by my mother, who is a very passionate nurse. It all began in 1993 when I embarked on my medical education in Santa Clara, Cuba. However, in an unexpected twist, I moved to the United States during my second year, bringing forth new challenges and opportunities that would ultimately shape my healthcare path.
Over the years, I’ve amassed valuable experience and credentials. In 2004, I earned a Master’s degree as an APRN from Florida International University (FIU), and in 2013, I achieved my Doctorate Degree (DNP) from Florida Atlantic University (FAU).
In my personal life, I’m blessed to be married to Davel Prieto, an unwavering partner in all my adventures since we met in 1997. We are proud parents to our incredible twins, Daniela and Davel, who have chosen to follow our footsteps into the medical field, despite their musical talents. Daniela is pursuing Nursing at FAU, while Davel completes his bachelor in Chemistry at FIU hoping to commence medical school in 2025.
To delve further into our entrepreneurial background, my husband and I made a significant decision in 2007 when we decided to establish a Home Health Agency in Broward County. I am delighted to share that it has not only endured but also excelled, consistently delivering valuable services to our local community.
In 2013, we expanded our commitment to healthcare by founding a medical practice in Pembroke Pines. Over time, our practice has evolved, adding locations in Hollywood and recently, Clewiston, Florida, a city that has captured our hearts.
Initially focused on primary care and preventive medicine, our practice has grown into a wellness center specializing in regenerative medicine, anti-aging treatments, hormone replacement therapy, aesthetics, and clinical research. This transformation underscores our dedication to holistic care and staying at the forefront of medical advancements.
