She graduated Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas in 2013 after receiving a Bachelor Degree in Nursing from The University of Oklahoma in 2008 and a Bachelor in Sociology from Oklahoma State University in 2006. Although she grew up near Tulsa, Oklahoma, she gained a passion for rural medicine when she moved to Binger, Oklahoma in 2008. This passion has driven her to seek new ways to find the route-of-the problem for her patients, and not just a bandage by managing diseases.
