Deanna Curtis, CNP

Deanna Curtis, is a nationally certified Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed by the state of Arkansas. Deanna and her husband Glenn are the owners and operators of Curtis Family Clinic and Curtis Laser Clinic in Searcy, Arkansas. They are both members of AMMG- Age Management Medicine Group. Their practice is a wellness focused family nurse practitioner-based clinic.

Deanna obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with Registered Nurse Practitioner training in 1990 from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Deanna spent her early years after graduation working with Oncology and then Cardiology at Saint Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. After her marriage to Glenn and a relocation to Cabot, she was fortunate to be involved with both cardiology and rural health practices in underserved areas and in private practice.

Although she had always enjoyed being involved in specialty care, her love for family practice prevailed and continues today.

Always looking to pursue a greater education, she first obtained a Master’s degree in Business from Harding University in Searcy in 2002 and then a Master’s degree in Nursing from Arkansas State University, Jonesboro in 2005.

Glenn and Deanna began to work together in rural health family practice in 2009 in Glenn’s hometown of McCrory and ultimately opened a second family practice location in 2013 in Searcy. As the Searcy practice grew and a demand for added services became evident, Deanna expanded by adding multiple aesthetic services and offerings. As the aesthetic portion of the practice grew Curtis Laser Clinic was opened to provide the very best in non-surgical aesthetic treatment on a larger scale.

Deanna has always had a heart for not only addressing the illness concerns of others but also improving their health, wellness and beauty. Always being mindful of seeking ways to improve wellness and elegantly delivery the very best healthcare, Deanna continues to pursue excellence with education over the years in many forms, with numerous laser and aesthetic certifications, completing Age Management training and most recently advanced hormone management training to become a certified BioTE provider.

Glenn Curtis, CNP

Glenn began a career in

healthcare just after high school graduation in 1987 becoming first certified as an EMT and then moving on to become a National Registered Paramedic.

He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 1992 and then completing his training as an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner in 1993. He remained focused on emergency medicine during his time at Baptist Health Little Rock. During his time with Baptist he was in constant pursuit of knowledge surrounding emergency based healthcare and became dual certified as a Flight Nurse/ Flight Paramedic.

While at Baptist he took on a part time role as a Nurse Practitioner in rural health clinic taking a position in his hometown of McCrory, Arkansas. As he and his wife expanded their family, he made the tough choice of leaving emergency medicine and began working in a rural health setting focusing on family practice and wellness full time. They relocated from Cabot to Searcy in 1997.

Glenn has continued to increase his knowledge base and training always working toward improving the lives of those he cares for. Glenn advanced his education by completing a Master’s Degree in Nursing at Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, AR and obtained National Certification with American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in Family Practice in 2005.

Always in the constant pursuit of increased training and knowledge, over the years he has completed numerous studies including a surgical internship and certification as a Registered First Assistant at University of Rochester in New York, Age Management Training and most recently an advanced hormone management training becoming a Certified BioTE provider.
