Dan Monico

Dan Monico serves as Biote’s General Counsel. Dan is a trusted legal and business leader with deep experience advising executives on commercial matters, corporate governance, M&A, and litigation.

Prior to joining Biote, Dan served as Assistant General Counsel at Medline Industries, a manufacturer and distributor of medical devices and supplies with more than $28B in annual revenue. In that role, Dan led a team of attorneys responsible for commercial counseling to all sales channels and product divisions across the North American business.

Earlier in his career, Dan was a litigator at Kirkland & Ellis, where he represented Fortune 50 companies on complex, high stakes matters. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sara L. Ellis of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Dan earned his Juris Doctor from The University of Chicago Law School and holds a B.A. from Georgetown University.

As General Counsel, Dan oversees Biote’s legal function, serving as a strategic partner to the leadership team and counseling the company on governance and risk management issues.
