Dr. Heidi Heck is a native of San Antonio. After earning a degree in zoology from Texas A&M University, she attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She then returned to complete her residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She has been in private practice since 1989.

Biography
Dr. Bryan Cox is a true Texan. Born in the Rio Grande Valley and raised in West Texas, he attended college at Texas A&M in College Station, followed by eight years of medical training in Dallas before coming to San Antonio. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Zoology degree from Texas A&M University, he obtained his medical degree in 1983 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Parkland Memorial Hospital.
He started his private practice in San Antonio in the summer of 1987. In 1996, he and the other original seven partners formed Seven Oaks Women’s Center (SOWC). He served as president of SOWC from its inception until 2008. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a member of several professional organizations, including the Texas Medical Association, the Bexar County Medical Society, the Texas Association of Obstetrics and Gynecologists and the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons.
Dr. Cox enjoys forming a long-term relationship with his patients and is keenly interested in their overall health and wellness. His practice covers all areas of obstetric and gynecology specialties, and in addition to his total commitment to the obstetric patient, he has special interests in advanced laparoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, and the management of pelvic prolapse and uterine prolapse conditions.
Dr. Cox has been married since 1989 to his wife Monica and they have one daughter, Avery. He loves being a dad and husband and enjoys time with his family and friends. His main hobbies are waterskiing (year around), snow skiing, hiking, regular exercise and cooking.

Biography
Christine de la Garza received her undergraduate degree at University of Minnesota, attended medical school at UTHSCSA and completed her residency at UTHSCSA. Dr de la Garza also holds associate clinical professor position at UTHSCSA.
Dr. de la Garza grew up in suburbs of Chicago and graduated from University of Minnesota with a Bachelor in Nursing. She moved to San Antonio where she received her Masters in Nursing. She attended medical school at UTHSCSA, completed her training in obstetrics and gynecoloty in San Antonio. She now calls this her home.
She was an original partner in Seven Oaks Women””s Center when it formed in 1996. She is a member of AMA and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, as well as a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. de la Garza and her husband, Andrew, have four children and enjoy outdoor activities, such as hunting, fishing, golf, and water sports. She enjoys each aspect of a general practice, following patients through pregnancy and preventive care. Her goal is to personalize each patients obstetrics experience, and customize their preventive care especially as women enter menopause. She receives the support of the Nurse Practitioners Gloria Nichols & Mary Cochran-Francis.

Biography
Dr Parke Hedges was born in Arkansas and spent his childhood years in Indiana. His family moved to Texas in 1969 and settled in the Houston area. After graduation from La Porte High School, Dr Hedges attended Texas A & M University in College Station.
Dr. Hedges attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and graduated with honors. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 1986. He established his first private practice in Corpus Christi but eventually returned to San Antonio. He is one of the founding members of Seven Oaks Women’s Center. He has been honored by induction into the AOA Medical Honor Society. Dr. Hedges also has served as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Hedges maintains an active private life spending time with his wife Donna and 3 Australian Shepherds. He is an avid orchid grower and active singer songwriter.

Biography
Gloria Nichols, Women””s Health Care Nurse Practitioner, received her initial nurse’s training at San Antonio College and went on to receive her bachelor””s at UTSA. She later completed her Nurse Practitioners program at UT Southwestern Medical Center and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University.
Gloria landed in San Antonio in 1970 while in the Army at Fort Sam Houston and has been a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for over nine years at Seven Oaks Women””s Center.
Gloria belongs to the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, the Intervarsity Nurse Christian Fellowship, UTSA Alumni Association, and Career Point College Medical Advisory Board.
Gloria’s particular interest in Women’s Health is adolescence health care. She believes she has a professional responsibility to be a credible, reliable, and trustworthy source of information for the patient. Gloria understands women have special needs, and her goal is to help address those needs.
Gloria is married and writes poetry, music, and short stories, and she loves to sing and play the tambourine. Gloria is also an ordained minister with the International Congress of Churches & Ministries.

Biography
Dr. Annaliese Kistler is very excited to be a part of Seven Oaks Women””s Center. She is a born and raised Texan, originally from a small town in East Texas, growing up in Lufkin.
She completed her undergraduate degree at Baylor University in Waco with studies in biology, knowing the ultimate goal was to pursue a medical degree. Dr. Kistler completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She subsequently completed her OB/GYN residency at UT Southwestern at Austin, serving her last year as chief resident. During her residency, Dr. Kistler was awarded the Resident Distinguished Educator Award, and also was recognized as the Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology.
She is excited to practice in San Antonio and her motivation in patient care is to help patients understand their diagnosis and personal health issues. Dr. Kistler believes in working together with her patients in order to tailor a treatment plan that will fit into their life and daily activities. She truly finds joy in developing long-term patient relationships.
Dr. Kistler is a member of American Congress of OB/GYN, Texas Medical Association, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
In her free time, she loves running with her English cocker spaniel, Bailey, snow skiing, cooking, and traveling. She is married and enjoys exploring San Antonio with her husband.
Brian W. Harle, M.D. BIO
Dr. Harle attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate studies and received his MD from Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in OB/GYN at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Dr. Harle was born and raised in San Antonio and has been a part of Seven Oaks Women’s Center since its inception.
Dr. Harle belongs to many professional organizations: Fellow of the American Congress of OB/GYN, Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, Texas Medical Society, Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Association of OB/GYN, & Willard Coolec Association of Former OB/GYN Residents of UTMB. Dr. Harle also serves as Vice President for Section 5, District XI of the American Congress of OB/GYN.
Dr. Harle believes in forming a partnership with the patient to stress health and wellness programs. In the event of a problem, he likes to work with the patient as a team to arrive at the best possible solution. He enjoys caring for patients of all ages – from adolescence through menopause. He enjoys all aspects of obstretric and gynecological medicine and has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, urinary incontinence, and pelvic prolapse. He is skilled and certified in robotic surgery.
Medicine is in Dr. Harle’s blood. His father was a well respected family medicine physician who practiced in San Antonio for 52 years. He credits his father for sparking his interest in medicine from a very young age. Dr. Harle””s brother is an anthesiologist in San Antonio. Dr. Harle loves hunting, fishing, and all outdoor activities. He also enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. He is a director of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and is an active volunteer with two rodeo committees.
