Holly founded Panhandle Family Care in 2009 in efforts to improve access to healthcare for rural residents of the Texas Panhandle. Jeffreys completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Texas A&M University and certification as a Registered Nurse in 1997. She continued her education by completing a Master of Science in Nursing from WTAMU and Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2002. In 2009 Jeffreys completed a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Texas Health Science Medical Center and was honored to be a member of the very first DNP class in the State of Texas. Jeffreys has since received the University of Texas Distinguished Alumni Award for which only 42 individuals have been awarded over the last 46 years. In 2016 Jeffreys was appointed to serve on the Texas Health Care Advisory Board for the Lt. Governor where she continues to serve today. Jeffreys has also served as the Panhandle Regional Representative on the Texas Nurse Practitioners Board of Directors since 2011 and is current Chair for the Texas Nurse Practitioner Policy Council. The U.S. Small Business Administration named Jeffreys the 2017 Texas Panhandle Small Business Person of the Year for her achievements as a successful entrepreneur. In 2018, she received the Nurse Practitioner State Excellence Award from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as well as the Nurse Practitioner of the Year Award from Texas Nurse Practitioners. Jeffreys is the Board Chair for West Texas A&M University College of Health Sciences Advisory, Board President of Bushland ISD Board of Trustees, immediate Past President of the High Plains Republican Women, and Secretary for the Panhandle Association of School Boards. Jeffreys volunteers as a licensed EMT for Oldham County EMS. Jeffreys and her husband are active in church and enjoy spending time ranching and rodeoing with their four children and extended family and friends.
Tara has been certified as Family Nurse Practitioner in 2016.
Tara was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle. Tara graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors from Texas Tech University in 2005 and became certified as a Registered Nurse. Tara’s nursing career is extensive including Pediatrics/Pediatric Intensive Care, Surgery-Veterans Health, Ethics Committee at VA Hospital, PACU, and Pediatric Home Health. In 2016, Tara completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree from West Texas A&M University and became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Tara has a passion for working in rural health and has worked in rural health care in Panhandle, Boys Ranch, and Vega since 2016. Tara is also a licensed volunteer EMT for the Vega EMS department.
Callie graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2001 and a Master’s of Science in Nursing Administration in 2005 from West Texas A&M University. Callie was employed with Northwest Texas Healthcare System for 14 years with experience in Medical-Surgical nursing, Orthopedics, Oncology and an education role focused on regulatory and quality measures and Medical Peer Review. Callie completed a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College and became a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2016. Callie grew up in Panhandle, Texas and enjoys raising her family in Panhandle and focusing her career on rural health care.
