Dr. Vallabhan is the area’s only Fellowship-trained Robotic Surgeon.
He practices in West Texas and New Mexico, with patient referrals coming from as far away as Kansas.
He did his fellowship training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit at the Vatticuti Urology Institute.
He leads the region in Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomys, using the da Vinci Surgical System.
Kathleen, a Lubbock native, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2005.
Her nursing career began in the Adult Emergency Room at Covenant Medical Center in 2005, where she developed a strong foundation as a nurse.
In 2007, she transferred to the Surgical Assessment Services unit at Covenant Lakeside and also attained admission into the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2010, and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
She is a member of the Society of Urological Nurses and Associates, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurse Practitioners.
Dr. Beck is the area’s only Fellowship-trained Urinary Stone Disease surgeon.
He also completed Fellowship training in Endourology and Laparoscopy surgeries at the UCLA School of Medicine.
As a respected and experienced Laparoscopic and Stone Disease surgeon in the West Texas and Eastern New Mexico regions, he routinely performs surgery using the latest technology and treatments available.
Chris graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.
He has been practicing in West Texas since1992, beginning his career in neurosurgery then joining Lubbock Urology in 2006.
Chris is married with four kids.
He enjoys travelling, camping, tennis and watching his kids grow up.
Dr. Mahal has been an established urology physician in the Lubbock community for over ten years.
His philosophy of building patient relationships goes hand in hand with this clinic’s belief of providing advanced solutions from people who care.

Dr. Mahal grew up in California and is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley.
He completed his medical training at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his residency at UT Health Sciences Center in San Antonio.
In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching sports, especially college football.
