Amy enjoys volunteering time at Christ Clinic, a charity healthcare facility in Katy, exercising, gardening and traveling when opportunities arise. Amy has been married 33 years to husband Seth and they have three grown children; Hobie, Hanna and Eli, along with their mini golden doodle, Henry.
Bita Pour-Jafari, MD, ABAARM, is an accomplished and perceptive board-certified physician with expertise in family medicine, gynecology, regenerative medicine, and internal medicine. Dr. Jafari treats a variety of acute and chronic illnesses at Texas Premier Physicians in Houston.
Dr. Jafari finished a residency in family medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Permian Basin campus in Odessa, Texas. She completed a fellowship in anti-aging and metabolic and functional medicine from the
American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine (A4M) in 2017.
Active in her field, Dr. Jafari is currently a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the Metabolic Medical Institute, and the Texas Medical Association.
Dr. Jafari is affiliated with several local hospitals, including the St. Joseph Medical Center, the HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center, the Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital, and the Houston Methodist West Hospital.
Dr. Jafari also offers annual physical exams, including sports, school, work, and Medicare physicals, STD screenings, Pap smears, breast exams, Menopause and andropause evaluations, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and many other valuable services.
