Dr. Sathyamoorthy is a Board-Certified Urologist who practices general urology at Cypress Urology located in Cypress, Texas.
He is a leading robotic surgeon in the Houston community who uses the latest technology and equipment to treat all urologic conditions.
He is based in Cypress, Texas, and has served the Cypress and Northwest Houston community for over 11 years.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University and has a master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University.
He earned his Medical Degree from the State University of New York in Brooklyn where he received the honor of being inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) society.
He completed his Urology residency at the prestigious Scott Department of Urology at the Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center. Dr. Sathyamoorthy has lived in Houston for 17 years and enjoys spending his time with his wife Monica, and his two young boys, Keshav and Arjun.
They enjoy outdoor activities, bike rides and swimming.
Maelyn Dishman, PA-C, is an exceptional physician assistant at Cypress Urology in Houston, Texas. She joined the practice in 2022 and provides patients with effective and compassionate care.
Maelyn grew up in the Midwest and attended Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, for both her undergraduate and master’s degree. She earned her Bachelor of Science in health sciences in 2011 and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2012.
Upon graduation, Maelyn moved to Houston and worked in primary care for 10 years before deciding to specialize in urology. Maelyn is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the state of Texas to practice medicine.
She is a participating member of the American Association of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Urology Association, and a local member of the Texas Gulf Coast Physician Assistant Association. Maelyn’s personal interests include gardening, tennis, various crafting, and spending time with her friends and family. She is currently seeing only existing patients at Cypress Urology.
