Cindi is a certified women’s healthcare nurse practitioner and is now accepting new patients. Cindi is so happy to be caring for the Enid community and can’t wait to see some more familiar faces.

Cindi graduated from University of Texas Southwest Medical School as OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner School in 1992 and has more than 28 years of diverse experiences, especially as a Nurse Practitioner.

For the better part of her career, Cindi worked in collaborative private practice with Dr. Richard Staerkel, at Women’s Health and Wellness. After that, they owned and developed a free standing birth center, BirthWise.

In 2016, Cindi retired to Florida. However, she couldn’t stay away for long and went back to work while in Florida at a Family Planning/STD clinic.

Upon returning to Enid, Cindi went back to work at Women’s Health and Wellness before opening her own independent practice as Women’s HealthWise in July 2020.

Cindi and Richard have enjoyed being home with their 5 grown children and families, 8 grandkids and one great grand daughter.
