Dr. Apostolis is a native of western Pennsylvania. He completed one year of General Surgery residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He then completed his Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN) residency at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. Dr. Apostolis acquired his fellowship training at the Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS).
Dr. Apostolis specializes in the latest techniques and treatments to help beautifully transform the female genital area for a more aesthetically pleasing appearance and to help patients achieve more sensation and satisfaction during intimacy. Since starting his practice in Akron, OH in 2012 he has treated over 5,000 women suffering with pelvic floor conditions in the Northeast Ohio area. Dr. Apostolis is double Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS).
Dr. Apostolis is a member of the American Urogynecology Society (AUGS), American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy (AAGL), and the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons (SGS). He has published many articles on women’s health and continues to present his research on a national and international level.
Dr. Apostolis is a national proctor, teaching surgeons across the country on cutting edge, minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Apostolis has also been invited internationally to teach surgeons the latest in pelvic reconstructive techniques for pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence.
