Sarah D. Maddison, MD, is a native of North Carolina, born in Rocky Mount. She received her undergraduate degree at UNC-Chapel Hill and attended medical school at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine.
Dr. Maddison is passionate about optimizing health, well-being, and longevity for menopausal and perimenopausal women. She is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Obesity Medicine. She is also an exam-certified Menopause Practitioner and active member of the Menopause Society.
Additionally, Dr. Maddison serves on the Advisory Board for UNC’s Nutrition Research Center, where she supports their research in “food as medicine” and precision nutrition
