Lindsey Michaels is the owner and a Nurse Practitioner of Silver Creek Family Practice, PLLC that provides medical care in a rural community in North Carolina. Lindsey grew up in her community where she now provides exceptional medical care. She obtained an Associates in Nursing from Western Piedmont Community College, Bachelors in Nursing from Western Carolina University, Master in Science with an emphasis on Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University, and a Master in Science with Family Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University.
Lindsey provides one on one care with several patients to meet their needs for family practice concerns with chronic illness (Hypertension, Diabetes, etc.) and acute illnesses (colds, allergies, strep throat, injuries, etc.). Lindsey also operates a weight management program offered at Silver Creek Family Practice, this program offers a structured self-driven weight program. Lindsey has a special interest in educating others, weight management and hormonal imbalances through the years. Lindsey is a provider who focuses on the health and wellness of each patient being proactive in their care. After opening her practice in 2018 she obtained recognition as the counties voted top “Best” for 2019 in weight management and as nurse practitioner. Lindsey’s values are to be respectful with each and every patient she encounters, accountable for her treatment regimens, professional interaction with patients, and proactive in the treatment for the best care and interest of her patients.
When Lindsey is not working she is a simple family gal, she enjoys spending time with family. She is a simple down to earth southern lady. Lindsey has been married to her high school sweet heart for thirteen years. They have a beautiful and very energetic 15-year old daughter, one cat that was rescued at her office, and three yorkie puppies. She enjoys camping, reading a sappy love story or anything medical, and relaxing by an outdoor fire on the weekends.
