Spencer Pinion, MD

Dr. Spencer Pinion, affectionately known as Spence, grew up in Groveport, Ohio and attended Muskingum University.

After graduating from Ross University School of Medicine and completing his education with the family medicine residency program at Grant Medical Center, he spent 9 years practicing at Cleveland Clinic in Dover, Ohio. Traditional family internal medicine and sports medicine were his specialties during his time in Dover.

This strong foundation set the stage for the next season of incorporating wellness into chronic care, where he found that fit at DS Family Medicine.

As he often says, “I’ve enjoyed the ability to find fulfillment in getting my patients ‘less sick’ but the ultimate goal is to get my patients healthy and well for a lifetime!”

He and his wife Angie, their 2 children, and 2 dogs set out for Louisiana and have been loving all their new adventures.

Dr. Pinion enjoys family time, outdoor activities, concerts, soccer and exercise.

He recently completed a full Iron Man in July and is currently in training for his next race.

As the new lead physician and partner in the Covington clinic, he is excited to continue to instill the DS Philosophy of Progressive Primary Care that is founded through strong relationships with each and every one of his patients.
