An advanced approach to spine care. Neck and back pain are among the most common health ailments that Americans face – even many young and otherwise healthy adults experience low back pain, neck stiffness, and related problems on a frequent basis.
“It’s estimated that almost 80 percent of Americans will have back pain at some point in their lives, which is a really alarming statistic,” says. Dr. Vemuri. “The spine is a remarkably complex structure and it is vulnerable to a wide variety of injuries and degenerative conditions.”
Dr. Vemuri is ready to help when spinal conditions like disc herniation, nerve compression, fractures, and muscle strains strike. Instead of rushing to surgical treatment, Dr. Vemuri uses evidence-based conservative therapies to promote spinal mobility and healing. In fact, most patients are able to effectively manage their pain through these non-surgical approaches. When surgery is clinically appropriate, however, Dr. Vemuri utilizes muscle-sparing techniques to address spine disorders with as little disruption to healthy tissues as possible.
