As the founder and Medical Director of Allure Laser Med Spa, Dr. Lehuanani Akau has pledged to serve as many customers as possible across the country in their journey of looking bold and beautiful.
Dr. Lehuanani Akau is a doctorate prepared Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner, certified by the state of Hawaii with prescribing authority. Dr. Akau is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC, American Nurses Credentialing Center. Trained by world-renowned aesthetic medicine practitioners and a proud member of the AAFE, American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Post-graduate training and certifications to provide safe medical aesthetic treatments such as Botox and dermal filler treatments.
Her nursing experience ranges from emergency room, acute and intensive care experience, cardiology, medical-surgical, geriatrics and pediatric health and care of medically-fragile. She is also a certified biote provider and likes to educate the critical role of hormones and health to her patients.
Dr. Akau also holds the title of Asst. Professor and clinical faculty in the School of Nursing at the University of Hawaii , Hilo Campus, where she is directing and instructing registered nursing students and undergraduates at the university level. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Hawaii Pacific University, School of Nursing and Chaminade University, School of Nursing.
