Dr. Stubley is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist who has been with Shaw Center for Women””s Health, PA since 1997.
Dr. Stubley was raised in Greenville, South Carolina.
He received his bachelor of science degree in biology in 1984 from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in Charleston.
He received his medical degree in 1988 from University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia.
Dr. Stubley completed a transitional residency in 1989 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.
He also completed an OB/GYN residency in 1995 at Keesler Medical Center, Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, where he received the Outstanding Resident Teaching Award for two consecutive years.
Dr. Stubley was a member of the United States Air Force from 1989 to 1997 with a final rank of Major.
During his enlistment, Dr. Stubley was a flight surgeon for the 433rd Tactical Fighter Training Squadron from 1989 to 1991.
He was also the Coordinator for Medical Operations Readiness – NASA Space Shuttle Support.
Dr. Stubley is a Fellow of American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
He is also a member of Medical Association of Georgia, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society.
During his time off, Dr. Stubley enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife, Meg, and three children.
Dr. Novak is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist joining the Shaw Center provider team in 2012.
Dr. Novak has been serving patients in the Southwest Georgia and North Floridaarea since 1998.
Dr. Novak was raised in Livingston, New Jersey.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Drew University in Madison, NJ in 1989 where he was active in student government and a scholar-athlete serving as captain of the Drew University basketball team. He received his medical degree in 1993 from The University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UVA in 1997 serving as Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Novak practiced at the Piedmont Women’s Center in Elkin, NC before moving to Thomasville in 1998.
Dr. Novak is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
He is also a member of the Medical Association of Georgia, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society. Dr. Novak has presented medical research in Obstetric, Medical and Fetal Complications in Women age 40 and Over at the World Congress of Perinatology, and has authored a publication of Clinical Protocols in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
During his time off, Dr. Novak enjoys spending time with his wife, Renee, and four children.
Dr. McCollum has been part of Shaw Center since 2009.
Dr. McCollum is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist and the newest member to Shaw Center for Women’s Health.
She grew up in Columbus, Georgia. Dr. McCollum attended The Georgia Institute of Technology and earned a bachelor of biology degree in molecular genetics in 1998, graduating with high honors.
She earned her medical degree in 2002 from Mercer University School of Medicine.
While there, she received the T.J. Lin Award for Excellency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. McCollum completed residency at Medical Center of Central Georgia where she was Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. McCollum is a member of American Medical Association, Medical Association of Georgia and is a Fellow with American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her hobbies include hiking, traveling, and aerobic exercise, but mostly spending time with her husband, Eric, and two children.
