Acknowledged as a senior laser practitioner by the Georgia Composite Medical Board, Julie’s standing in the medical community is well-established. Beyond her clinical practice, she has contributed significantly as a published author, with works featured in several medical journals, including a textbook focused on nonsurgical facial rejuvenation tailored for plastic surgeons.

With a remarkable track record, Dr. Zubowicz previously served as Medical Director of the Center for Plastic Surgery for 25 years. His expertise also extended to roles such as Director of the Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Assistant Director of the Emory Aesthetic Center. Notably, he successfully raised three accomplished daughters alongside his professional pursuits.
Throughout his career, Dr. Zubowicz has remained academically active, including authoring multiple chapters in esteemed professional textbooks and co-writing papers for various surgical journals. A renowned and sought-after speaker, he has delivered lectures on a wide array of topics. Emili began her career by pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Macon, GA, ultimately leading her to Atlanta. Her commitment to advancing her nursing career reached new heights as she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

With five years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Emili has found her professional niche at Zubowicz Aesthetics and Thrive Medical Spa. In her role as a DNP, FNP-C alongside Dr. Zubowicz, Emili is dedicated to assisting in local plastics procedures, guiding patients through pre- and post-operative care, and immersing herself in the dynamic realm of aesthetics.
