She received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina and completed her residency at Emory University. Dr. Carmichael also was a faculty member at Morehouse School of Medicine, where she served as a clinical instructor for three years before entering private practice. Dr. Carmichael is especially interested in
helping women achieve healthy lifestyles. She feels strongly that incorporating healthy eating habits and regular exercise are vital keys to creating a strong foundation of health and wellness. She is also interested in helping women become aware of the alternative therapies for the management of common gynecological problems, such as fibroids and abnormal bleeding. She received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh””s School of Medicine and completed her residency at
Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. After moving to Georgia, she joined the faculty of Morehouse School of Medicine where she was on staff for 10 years. She was an associate professor before leaving and going into private practice.
