Dr. Geoffrey L. Kamen, MD is a board-certified Family Physician in San Luis Obispo,
California, providing physician-led hormone optimization and personalized preventive care.
Dr. Kamen earned his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv
University and completed his family medicine residency training at Boston Medical Center,
followed by a fellowship in geriatrics. His training emphasizes whole-person care, long-term
health, and thoughtful medical decision-making.
After many years practicing across a wide range of clinical settings — including primary care,
community health, urgent care, addiction treatment, and international clinical care — Dr.
Kamen has intentionally narrowed his clinical focus toward BioTE-guided hormone
optimization, preventive medicine, and high-touch individualized care. This allows him to bring
the depth of his broad medical background into a focused practice where careful monitoring
and personalized treatment make the greatest impact.

He is also a U.S. Navy veteran who served as a Lieutenant Commander, including
deployment in support of Joint Task Force Guantánamo.
