Alan is originally from Tijuana, Mexico, and has stayed local to the San Diego area. He graduated from SDSU with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010 from San Diego State University; and returned to school for a Masters in Science of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018 from Azusa Pacific University. Loving to learn, he has achieved many certifications, including Lifestyle Medicine Provider.
Alan has worked in varied settings in San Diego first in intensive care, then trauma and ambulance work, among others. This gives him a unique perspective on the workings of the human body. Working from a root cause perspective, he strives to provide the most comprehensive and holistic nursing care possible. Alan is driven by the love and support of his wife and two children and providing the best care while causing no harm.
