Dr. John How is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over a decade of experience in the emergency department. He has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal and mental health conditions in people who work or live in high-stress jobs and environments.

Dr. How received his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California and completed a residency in emergency medicine at Ascension St. John Hospital in Michigan. He is particularly interested in the use of modern ultrasound to diagnose and guide treatment for various conditions.

Through extensive training with doctors in a range of specialties, Dr. How has developed expertise in precision ultrasound-guided interventions for conditions such as peripheral nerve entrapment and soft tissue injuries. In addition to running his own clinic, The How Clinic, Dr. How is also passionate about teaching and has joined the clinical faculty for the primary care sports medicine fellowship at UHC SoCal MEC, where he focuses on ultrasound guided diagnosis and treatment and regenerative medicine.

I am passionate about health promotion and disease prevention. I believe in the quality of life over quantity of life and meditation over medication. After 2 decades of medical experience, I have become aware of the shortcomings of allopathic (“Western”) medicine, and that only through an integrative approach can I truly help my patients.

I strive to end suffering both mental and physical. I am no stranger to emotional pain. After losing my husband tragically to suicide in 2019, I was compelled to find a better way to alleviate the suffering of those dealing with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I am here to talk about your grief in an open, non-judgmental setting utilizing a variety of approaches to allow you to live alongside your grief.

Amy comes to us with over 20 years of experience in emergency medicine, with 15 years as a PA and 5 years as an EMT, in addition to 5 years experience in family practice. She received her medical training at Western University of Health Sciences, graduating top of her class after completing her undergraduate studies in Human Development at UC Riverside, graduating Magnum Cum Laude. She specializes in hormone replacement therapy and is passionate about sexual wellness and women’s health.

Dr. Silberman’s work is inspired by the sudden loss of his father when he was 25 years old from improper management of his complex chronic disease. Since that point he has dedicated his life to empowering others to take charge of their health so that a tragedy like that will never happen again and has become a globally recognized force in the field of naturopathic, integrative, and functional medicine.

The foundation of his practice is based on a personalized approach to health care that recognizes the biological uniqueness of each patient. Naturopathic medicine is an evidence-based field of health care that views the body as an interconnected whole and recognizes the importance of these connections in health and disease. In contrast to a conventional care model, which is almost entirely drug based and focused on suppressing symptoms, Dr. Silberman works to eliminate symptoms by addressing the underlying causes of a problem. Alongside comprehensive genetic, lab, and imaging analysis, he incorporates Botanical, Nutritional, Exercise, Mind-Body, Intravenous, Prolotherapy, Platelet Rich Plasma, Hormone Replacement, and Pharmacologic interventions as needed to maximize vitality at every point in the aging process.
