Dr. Chandra Spring-Robinson has built her medical career on a simple commitment – to continually contribute to the greater quality of life for women and their loved ones. That commitment starts with listening, giving her a holistic view of her patients, not just a physical one. Her passion for patient-centered care led her from the biomedical engineering field into the laboratory as a research scientist focusing on medical imaging and metabolic analysis, and then ultimately to a patient’s bedside as a physician.
Dr. Spring-Robinson is a published scientist in nuclear medicine having both a Bachelors and a Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. She completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency at the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York where she received a number of awards recognizing her surgical skills/abilities. Prior to joining San Diego Women’s Health, Dr. Spring-Robinson was an Attending Physician at the University of Buffalo where she also held the position of Academic Scholar training OBGYN residents.
For Dr. Spring-Robinson, delivering excellent obstetric care is a privilege. As a mother to a toddler, she knows how important each prenatal and postpartum appointment is for women and their families. She also works closely with her patients to address and overcome the challenge of infertility issues so they may achieve their dreams of becoming mothers.
Dr. Spring-Robinson is committed to improving women’s health through an evidence-based approach. She is well-versed in addressing the needs of patients at every stage of their lives, whether the patient is looking for help choosing a contraceptive that fits their lifestyle or is considering hormone replacement therapy to help manage menopause and beyond. An experienced surgeon, she has trained extensively in robotic surgery as well as minimally invasive laparoscopic and vaginal surgery techniques. She also specializes in treating complex gynecological issues such as endometriosis, uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, urinary incontinence, and gestational diabetes.
Dr. Kaitlyn Hill believes in establishing a strong patient-centered relationship built on trust and respect, and strives to offer an integrative approach to healthcare.
Dr. Hill attended San Diego State University where she obtained Bachelor of Arts degrees in Chemistry and Spanish and graduated from the Honors Program Magna Cum Laude. She then attended medical school at West Virginia University where her passion for the global community inspired her to obtain her certification in Tropical Medicine and Global Health.
Dr. Hill completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Long Island where her training and experience was extensive and robust. She encourages and rejoices in natural birth as well as confident in her medical and surgical expertise to manage any high risk pregnancies or complications. Additionally, Dr. Hill has surgical expertise in minimally invasive surgery with certifications of excellence in laparoscopic and robotic gynecologic surgery to treat conditions such as infertility, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, and abnormal uterine bleeding.
Ultimately, Dr. Hill’s goal is to practice comprehensive and holistic healthcare both medically and surgically. In addition to the traditional allopathic route, she pursued concurrent training in trauma-informed care and mind-body connection from the Institute for Functional Medicine and University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. After successfully completing her medical training, Dr. Hill joyfully returned to Southern California to reconnect with her family and has joined a thriving private practice in obstetrics and gynecology; one, dedicated to patient advocacy and grounded in evidence-based: medical, surgical, and holistic treatment options and strives to be LGBTQ+ inclusive in her practice
