Morgan Martin, MD

Dr. Martin was born and raised in Fort Payne, Alabama.

She attended Auburn University where she received a BS in Biomedical Sciences as well a BA in Spanish. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with both degrees all while performing with the Tiger Eyes in the Auburn University Marching Band and performing research at the school of Veterinary Medicine.

From here Dr. Martin attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham for Medical School where she started working with the division of Plastic Surgery performing research and learning her passion for Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Martin then completed her internship in General Surgery at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and her General Surgery Residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Tulane is one of the oldest and most prestigious programs in the country and continues to graduate leaders in the field of general surgery. Here, Dr. Martin trained in not only trauma surgery but also surgical oncology including Melanoma and Breast Oncology.

Dr. Martin then completed her Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Emory continues to be a powerhouse program for Breast Reconstruction and in the finesse of facial rejuvenation.

Outside of the operating room, Dr. Martin is also a mom to two beautiful children. She is the Co-Founder of The Loupe Podcast, and the Founder of HEADSUP ATLANTA, a grassroots program to increase exposure of underrepresented minority undergraduate and medical students to plastic surgery. Dr. Martin also is an advocate for transgender health and loves being able to affirm identity for those needing top surgery.

Kayla Williams, CRNP

Kayla is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of clinical nursing experience. Kayla has served in various roles within multiple Emergency Departments, as well in and Family Medicine. Kayla received her Associate Degree of Science in Nursing from Wallace State Community College, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama, along with Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner from The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).

Kayla is credentialed by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is an active member of the Emergency Nurses Association, The University of Alabama Alumni Association, The Honor Society of Nursing: Sigma Theta Tau International, and The American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

As a seasoned emergency medical provider, Kayla’s energy and drive resonates through her enjoyment promoting positivity in others.
