JoJo grew up in Gillette. After Highschool graduation, she went to College at John Brown University in Arkansas where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family & Human Services. After College graduation she lived in Colorado for 7 years where she earned her associate’s degree in nursing. As a Registered Nurse she worked on the surgical floor at Northern Colorado Medical Center. After returning to Gillette, JoJo worked at Powder River Surgical Center as a pre-op/post-op nurse. In 2014, JoJo opened Shekinah Clinical Spa after attending training at the National Laser Institute for medical professionals. She also received several skin training courses in Denver & Dallas. JoJo earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2022. She has been serving the community of Gillette and surrounding areas in aesthetics medicine for over 10 years. She earned her master’s degree in nursing in 2024. She is licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Wyoming and is Nationally Board Certified. JoJo is passionate about aesthetics, caring for people, and supporting her community. She enjoys helping others and providing services to build strong patient relationships. Some of JoJo’s career highlights include helping build patient confidence, honing her craft within aesthetics, serving her community, growing her clientele and paving a way for aesthetics in her hometown. In 2020, Shekinah Clinical Spa was chosen to be on the Television show “World’s Greatest”. The episode aired in August of 2021. Every year since 2021, JoJo has maintained “Gold” status with the company Allergan. This makes her in the top 12% of injectors in the Nation. In 2024 & 2025 Shekinah Clinical Spa was listed as one of Allergan’s top 10 locations in Wyoming. Shekinah Clinical Spa was also awarded County 17’s Best as the #1 Cosmetic Clinic in Gillette in 2024. When JoJo is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeremiah, and their 3 girls. Being a mom is the other job she loves.
