He attended medical school at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE, and completed his Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.
During the past 17 years of practicing medicine, Dr. Hammond has received extensive specialized training and is a dynamic and well-respected physician.

Her expertise include time spent working as a Nurse Practitioner in a surgical specialty and interventional pain clinic as well as assisting in the operating room in the areas of neurosurgery, orthopedics, general surgery and pain management here in Casper, WY.
She has a Masters of Science in nursing from the University of Wyoming, in Laramie, WY a Bachelors of Science from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO, and Associates of Science degrees from Casper College. She is board certified with the AANP as an Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C).

Her expertise include time spent as a Physician Assistant in the areas of pediatrics and convenient clinic in Norfolk, NE as well as spent time at InstaCare and Urgent Care, both in Casper, WY. While at Urgent Care, Carissa acted as Medical Director in addition to being a Physicians Assistant.
She has a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha NE, a Bachelors of Science in Health Science from Chadron State College in Chadron NE and a certificate in Clinical Clerkship.

As a Physician Associate, she specialized in Trauma, General and Vascular Surgery here in Casper, WY. She holds a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Utah, Bachelors of Science in Nuclear Medicine studies from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and multiple Associates degrees from Casper Community College.
