Shana Crowder is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of healthcare experience. After beginning her nursing career in 2001, she earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2009 and has dedicated her career to helping patients achieve better health through personalized, evidence-based care.
Throughout her career, Shana has practiced in Primary Care, Pediatrics, Hospice, Home Health, Disability Health Assessments, and Preventive Medicine. She has also served as an adjunct faculty member, educating future nurse practitioners and registered nurses at Wagner College, Shenandoah University, and Hagerstown Community College.
Shana has a special passion for wellness, hormone optimization, and preventive medicine. As a certified Biote® provider, she believes that balancing hormones can significantly improve quality of life, helping patients regain energy, improve mental clarity, enhance sleep, support weight management, optimize sexual wellness, and restore overall vitality. She takes a comprehensive, individualized approach to treatment, partnering with each patient to develop a plan that supports long-term health and wellness.
In addition to hormone optimization, Shana has extensive experience in medical aesthetics and facial rejuvenation. She is certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) and provides natural-looking aesthetic treatments that complement her philosophy of helping patients both look and feel their best.
As the owner and medical provider at Modern Aesthetics, Shana is committed to combining advanced medical knowledge with compassionate, patient-centered care. She believes that healthy aging is about far more than appearance—it’s about restoring confidence, improving well-being, and helping patients enjoy a vibrant, active life at every stage.
When she isn’t caring for patients, Shana enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and making memories with her two children, dog, and cat.
