Dr. Blaine attended Stonybrook for undergrad receiving his BS in Biology & attended medical school at Wake Forest Univsity. Dr. Blaine completed his surgical internship & ENT training at the Medical College of Virginia with a concentration on facial aesthetics & cosmetic plastic surgery. He opened his first medical spa practice in Charlottesville focused on dermal filler, Botox & photo rejuvenation using IPL. He was trained by Botox pioneers, Jean Carruthers & her husband, Alastair Carruthers. After moving to Beckley, he focused on complex head & neck surgery while expanding interests into health & wellness, including aesthetics & hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Blaine firmly believes the middle age & early senior population has been neglected over the years by not incorporating hormone replacement using bioidentical hormones. Dr. Blaine remains a very active ENT surgeon, but also enjoys aging gracefully with his middle aged patients and clients while staying vital & youthful.
