Geoffrey Stiller, MD

Geoffrey Stiller, M.D., FACS, FAACS is the Director of Stiller Aesthetics and is proud to provide over 20 years of surgical experience to the Inland Northwest. He is fellowship trained in Cosmetic Surgery, Board Certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and by The American Board of Surgery in General Surgery. He is one of only a handful of surgeons nationally with a focus on the surgical care of transgender patients.

Dr. Stiller has over 20 years of experience in general surgery, trauma and cancer surgery as well as serving four years as a major in the United States Air Force as a General surgeon. His time spent with Airfare allowed him to gain experience in a wide variety of surgical techniques and medical practice, establishing an outstanding base from which to grow.

Since medical school, Dr. Stiller had always been determined to find a path to be trained in transgender care, specifically gender affirming surgery. He completed his fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery in 2008 and has subspecialized in Cosmetics and Transgender surgery since that time. Even with his training in gender surgery regarding body contouring, facial and chest surgery, he still struggled to find a program at that time that were teaching Vaginoplasties. He then sought out Maurice Garcia, MD who is a Reconstructive Urologist in California specializing in Gender Affirming Surgery. After his training with Dr. Garcia, he became fully invested in Gender surgery and Aesthetics and decided to create a practice centralized on care for transgender care and cosmetics.

As he was practicing in Moscow, Idaho the demands started to increase for transgender affirming surgery. After dealing with multiple controversies in the community of the Palouse regarding transgender care he felt it was much safer to take care of patients in a metropolitan area, thus starting his Stiller Aesthetics practice in Spokane.

Dr. Stiller has been a faculty member of the National Society of Cosmetic Physician and the WWAMI program of the University of Washington Medical School, teaching both accomplished physicians and novice medical students. He frequently has nursing students, medical students, and physicians observing his operations and clinic practice. Dr. Stiller is also involved in the United States Professional Association for Transgender Health (USPATH) and World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH).

With exceptional skill and professionalism, Dr. Stiller couples a passion for cosmetic surgery with his desire to help his patients in their quest to meet cosmetic goals. Whether lecturing nationally or listening in consultation, Dr. Stiller’s desire is to help fellow physicians and patients understand the relationship between cosmetic and gender affirming surgery and improved self- confidence.

The thousands of optimal results achieved by Dr. Stiller is evidence of his compassion and desire to help his patients live their best lives. Adding to his local impact, Dr. Stiller and his team traveled to Africa in 2017 to help dozens of patients with severe surgical needs. Both lifesaving and life changing, Dr. Stiller provided his skills and resources free of charge to those without access to this necessary care, improving their quality of life immeasurably.

Dr. Stiller believes that thorough communication with patients is essential to a quality experience. Getting to know each patient individually is a primary importance to Dr. Stiller and the staff at Stiller Aesthetics. Understanding each patient’s needs and goals from initial consultation through the procedure is a commitment made with the intent to build a relationship for years to come.
