Dr. Timmer is licensed as a general family practice Naturopathic physician and her specialties include women’s health and hormone balancing, fertility for both males and females, endocrinology, adrenal disorders, IV therapy and gastroenterology.

Dr. Timmer received her Doctor of Naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA.
Prior to this, she received her Bachelor of Science from University of Victoria in Biology with a focus in Marine Biology.
Before finishing her undergraduate degree, she completed a field study program in the Amazon Rainforest of Northern Brazil studying biology, permaculture, and indigenous communities.
It was there she discovered her inspiration and a different take on medicine and health.
She came back from the Amazon with a passion for medicines of the world, treating the cause of illness and health through changing one’s lifestyle and using more natural means, not pharmaceuticals.
She found Bastyr University’s Naturopathic Medical program and knew that was the type of medicine she was meant to practice.

Through both her undergraduate and doctorate degrees, Dr. Timmer has spent a great deal of time tutoring other students.
She believes teaching plays a huge role in medicine.
While helping patients work towards wellness, she works to teach patients about their own health.
She hopes to empower patients in their work together as they strive to treat the cause of their illness or disease. She uses diet, nutrition, lifestyle modification, vitamins & minerals, herbal supplements, physical medicine, exercise therapy, IV therapy, and, when necessary, pharmaceutical medications to work to treat the root cause of disease.
In her spare time, Dr. Timmer enjoys traveling, being outdoors, skiing, running, hiking and enjoying new foods.
Dr. Timmer finds joy in traveling the world and immersing herself in other cultures.
