Jennie Drahushuk, NP

Dr. Jennie Drahushuk is a Nurse Practitioner who earned her Doctorate from Old Dominion University (ODU) in 2017. She earned her Master’s degree from ODU in 2012 and has been working as a Nurse Practitioner since. She is dually certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Emergency Nurse Practitioner and is also a Certified Aesthetics Provider.

Prior to being a Nurse Practitioner, Dr. D was a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, an Emergency Medical Technician and held various teaching positions. Her passion for Emergency Medicine led her to various leadership roles including being the State Representative of Virginia for the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners. She also has had multiple speaking engagements covering Emergency topics and matters on Wellness and Health.

Although she has spent over twenty years in Emergency Medicine, Dr. D has always had a passion for preventative health measures, wellness, living a healthy lifestyle and having fun through it all. The idea for Alive and Thriving Healthcare started many years ago. She has poured herself in to learning all things related to IV micronutrition, aesthetics, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and other wellness modalities to be used in ways most beneficial to health.
