Elizabeth Goodiel, CNM

I have been practicing in Northern Virginia for over 35 years with experience in women’s reproductive health and now have a special interest in atrophic vaginitis and the side effects of menopause.

I have worked in women’s health care since graduating from George Mason University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. I worked in labor and delivery until I returned to school to study surgery to become a certified first assistant in OBGYN surgery in 1989. I was certified as a first assistant and in the operating room and I worked for over 30 years for Fairfax OBGYN associates as their first assistant. I cared for women having cesarean sections and GYN surgery.

I began midwifery in 1997, acquiring my Masters Degree and certification in midwifery from Georgetown University. I taught childbirth education and gave seminars and educational information to student midwives. I was a mentor for many students and newly graduated nurse practitioners and midwives.

I now specialize in hormone replacement therapy with an emphasis on bioidentical hormones. I am a biotic pellet advocate and injector for both women and men.

I enjoy scuba diving skiing whitewater rafting but mostly enjoy watching my 12 grandchildren grow and thrive.

Leonard Rosen, MD

I have specialized as a Women’s Health provider for over 40 years. I initially delivered babies and was a master robotic surgeon, but I am now concentrating on the problems women face during menopause and how to help women have their babies.

I have been an advocate of Women’s Health initiatives throughout my professional career working in private practice in Northern Virginia since 1980, where I was one of the Cofounders of Fairfax OBGYN Association.

I went to medical school and completed my internship and residency at George Washington University Medical center where I was chief during year 4.

I am now concentrating on menopause and hormones are replacing therapies, with a particular interest in bioidentical hormones. I am also treating men with low testosterone levels and finding both women and men having significant improvement in their quality of life after using bioidentical hormones.

I enjoy spending time with my family and grandchildren. I am a scuba diver with concentration in underwater photography. I enjoy skiing and golfing and I love watching professional sports teams.

I support organizations that promote rural health initiatives emergency first aid for natural disasters and ocean conversations.
