A graduate of Phoebus High School, he received his undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University, and his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He also completed his OB/GYN specialty training at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Jafri is interested in the full spectrum of women’s health, from adolescent medicine to menopause management, with particular interest in minimally-invasive pelvic surgery.

Dr. Obaid Jafri is interested in all aspects of the female reproductive system, with particular interest in the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding using minimally invasive surgical and non-surgical techniques. He also offers services in obstetrics, urogynecology (the treatment of urinary incontinence), family planning, and prevention and treatment of cervical cancer and HPV infection.
