She originally attended Kaplan University, in Davenport, Iowa, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. April pursued her interest in nursing, graduating with honors from Kaplan University with Master of Science in Nursing with a subspeciality of Family Practice. April is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has primarily worked fulltime with Carilion Clinic Family Medicine in Dublin. April has an autonomous practice license allowing her to independently practice as a Nurse Practitioner in her own clinic.
