Dr. Stewart grew up in San Antonio, Texas where he graduated from Churchill High School. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University, he went to Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where he did biochemical research for two years. Next, he attended University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School. His internship and residency were completed in 1987 at the Dallas Southwestern Family Practice Program in Wichita Falls, TX. Since completing his residency, Dr. Stewart has practiced Emergency Medicine in Tyler, TX for over 20 years. He has served on multiple committees and boards including Smith County Medical Association. His memberships include Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Society for Laser Medicine and American Society for Photodynamic Therapy. His interest and passion for healthier lifestyles influenced his desire to pursue additional training in the field of hormone therapy and aesthetic medicine. He opened Pure Radiance Med Spa in Tyler in 2006.
