A graduate of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, Dr. Nickens completed his residency at TTUHSC of Amarillo Department of Community and Family Medicine. He is board-certified in Family Medicine, assuring the highest standard of care for his patients.

Dr. Nickens’ extensive career has included various roles, from private practice to medical directorships, and teaching positions. He is excited to return to the Panhandle region, where he has deep roots, and contribute his expertise to the well-being of the Shamrock community.

When not in the clinic, Dr. Nickens enjoys spending time with his family and immersing himself in the vibrant culture of the Panhandle. He looks forward to building lasting connections and improving the health of Shamrock residents.
