Paloma Perez is originally from Mexico. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (ANCC) and is certified as an Emergency Room Nurse (CEN) by the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN). She is also certified by the American Heart Association and by The American Red Cross for Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life support as well Emergency Trauma Nursing (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric (ENPC). Paloma’s nursing background includes emergency and critical care nursing at Kingwood HCA, Kingwood Emergency Hospital, and Free-standing Emergency Department.
Paloma earned her nursing degree from Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas, her Bachelor in Science in Nursing (BSN) from The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), and her Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner from Houston Baptist University (HBU).
Paloma resides in Onalaska with her husband and family. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs and plants. She is looking forward to establishing strong relationships with all of her patients, both Spanish and English speakers. She wants to promote breast and cervical cancer awareness and assist local truck drivers with their DOT examinations. She is excited to make a difference for patients in Polk County and surrounding communities.
