Mary Grace Bridges, MD, is a board-certified Obstetrician & Gynecologist, as well as a fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon. She sees patients at Women’s Health Partners of the Permian Basin, with locations in Odessa and Midland, Texas.
Dr. Bridges completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. During her residency training, she developed an interest in breast cancer after her mother got diagnosed with breast cancer. This further fueled her passion and dedication to women’s health as she went on to pursue a fellowship in Breast Oncology. After her residency training, she completed a Breast Surgical Oncology fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, Texas. After completing her fellowship training, she stayed on as Clinical Instructor and served as the Medical Director for the TTUHSC Breast Center of Excellence.
Dr. Bridges’ unique training in both OB/GYN and Breast Oncology allows her to provide truly comprehensive care in all aspects of a woman’s life. She specializes in breast diseases ranging from benign breast issues to breast cancer. She also provides genetic counseling and offers genetic testing for those patients who may be at high risk for breast cancer secondary to family history. Her goal is to not only provide quality medical care, but to develop long-lasting relationships with her patients.
During her free time, Dr. Bridges enjoys spending time with her husband and her four children as well as her parents and family. She also loves to travel and volunteers with medical mission trips to the Philippines where she was born.
Stepheny Torres is a certified family nurse practitioner native to the Permian Basin. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse at ORMC in labor and delivery for 7 years. This experience gave her the desire to further pursue her studies in Women’s Health and become a family nurse practitioner. She completed her Family Nurse practitioner program from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She has worked many years closely with an ObGyn providing up to date care to the Permian basin.
She is passionate about comprehensive obstetrical services from preconception to postpartum care and breast-feeding support. She is also enthusiastic about contraception management, preventative medicine, and treating various infections and complications of obstetrics and gynecology. Stepheny stays up to date with clinical recommendations and current research.
Stepheny and her husband both share the love for practicing medicine as well as 3 daughters. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her children and their 2 dogs.
