Dr. Lindemann has lived in Nacogdoches since 2010, moving here after completing her residency. Dr. Lindemann earned her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science from The University of Texas at A&M and her M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She completed her Residency at The Methodist Hospital – Houston Family Medicine Residency Program, serving as Chief Resident her last year. She has been active at Nacogdoches Medical Center for the last 12 years. She has served in many leadership capacities, among them as a member of the Governing Board at NMC, Clinical Professor at Sam Houston State College for Osteopathic Medicine, Medical Director of the Stephen F. Austin State University Student Health Center, Medical Director of Hospice of East Texas and as Sports Medicine Staff at Stephen F. Austin State University. She also serves as Medical Director for select nursing homes in Nacogdoches and Center. In 2023, she has taken on the role of Chief of Staff for Nacogdoches Medical Center. She has been voted Best Family Medicine Physician in Nacogdoches and One of the Best Family Medicine Practices in Nacogdoches as well as winning the People’s Choice Award in the fundraiser Dancing with the Nacogdoches Stars competition. In the community, Dr Lindemann is active as a leader in the Nacogdoches 4H Adult Leaders Association and assistant club manager for the Nacogdoches 4H Club. Dr. Lindemann has been married for 21 years and has 3 children. When not in clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family and working out at the family ranch.
Jamie Cook, FNP-BC received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches. She developed a passion for helping people very early in her nursing career and decided to further pursue her career. She received her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas in Tyler, her Post-Masters Certification from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, and is nationally certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is dedicated to educating and providing care for the whole family. Jamie works in collaboration with Carey Lindemann, M.D. at Lindemann Family Medicine, rendering services such as well-child checks, well-women exams, annual physicals, diagnostic studies, management of chronic diseases, and sick visits.
Cheryl W. Scalora, MSN, CNM, FNP has over four decades of experience caring for women and babies. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Houston Baptist University. She later went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Scalora is a member of the American Midwifery Certification Board. Scalora has a passion for supporting women through pregnancy, birth, postpartum and lactation.
