Cindy Turco, M.D., is native of South Florida.
Proud of her dual heritage, she has volunteered with several community outreach projects with the goal of improving the health of Latina women, and she is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Turco’s professional interests include obstetrics, preventive medicine, office gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, management of menopause and its symptoms, management of the abnormal Pap smear tests, adolescent care, pregnancy care, and preventive health. She also focuses on counseling her patients on healthy lifestyle choices and preventive medicine. Dr. Turco’s personal interests include yoga, running, and spending time with her husband and child.
About Dr. Uribe-Torres
Dr. Brenda Uribe-Torres pursued a career in medicine out of a deep compassion for others and a passion for women’s health. For her, patient care is about more than just treating conditions—it’s about building relationships, empowering women with knowledge, and providing support through every stage of life.
She values the personal connection she shares with her patients and recognizes the anxiety many women feel regarding their health. As both a physician and a woman, Dr. Uribe-Torres is committed to ensuring that her patients feel heard, understood, and comfortable with their care plans.
Her clinical interests include minimally invasive treatments that provide effective care with reduced recovery time, allowing patients to return to their daily lives with greater ease and confidence.

About Dr. Mahajan-Merritt
A Houston native, Dr. Kavita Mahajan-Merritt has dedicated her career to providing compassionate and comprehensive women’s healthcare. After earning her B.S. in Biology from Trinity University with a minor in religion, she pursued her passion for research at the Air Force Research Laboratories while completing her M.S. in Biology at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Dr. Mahajan-Merritt obtained her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed her Ob/Gyn residency training at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, OH in 2009.
Her professional interests include obstetrics, preventive medicine, office gynecology, and minimally invasive surgery. She is passionate about patient education, empowering individuals to better understand their health and treatment options. Having lived abroad for many years, she is also culturally sensitive to the diverse needs of her patients.
Personal Interests
Outside of medicine, Dr. Mahajan-Merritt enjoys spending time with her family, running, traveling, reading, and music.
About Dr. Rodriguez
Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Rodriguez discovered her passion for medicine as a child when a family member was hospitalized. This experience sparked a lifelong commitment to learning and helping others through compassionate and patient-centered care.
Throughout her medical training, Dr. Rodriguez was honored with induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for her excellence in patient care. She was also nominated for the ACOG Creighton L. Edwards, MD, Resident Award in Compassionate Care, recognizing her dedication to empathetic and comprehensive women’s healthcare.
Her professional interests include minimally invasive surgery, obstetrics, preventive medicine, and comprehensive women’s health. She believes in fostering strong partnerships with her patients, stating:

Dr. Rachel Towns is thrilled to return to her hometown to care for the women and families of the Kingwood/Houston area. With a deep passion for women’s health, she is honored to guide and support patients through every stage of reproductive life—from menarche to pregnancy and menopause.

Becoming a physician has always been my calling, but my true passion lies in women’s health. Growing up in a highly academic family, I was also raised with a strong sense of compassion and respect for others. It brings me great joy to care for women of all backgrounds as they navigate the various stages of life. I take the time to build relationships with my patients, listen to their concerns, and anticipate their needs, ensuring they receive the highest quality care based on my expertise and training.
