Kerri Truelock, MD

Dr. Kerri Truelock has been in practice since 2005. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado, where she served as Chief Resident in 2004-2005.

Dr. Truelock moved to Kerrville in 2005 and started Genesis Gynecology in 2008 and Regenesis- A Center for Vitality and Wellness in 2012.

She is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as a member of Texas Medical Association and Kerr-Bandera County Medical Society. She was chosen as one of Texas’ Favorite Physicians with the Patients’ Choice Award in 2011, 2014 and 2016.

She also received the Kerrville Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Leadership Award in 2009 and was awarded the Kerrville Daily Times Reader’s Choice award for Best OB/GYN in Kerr County in 2017, 2018, and 2021.

Dr. Truelock has been a BioTE Certified provider since 2014 and reached Legacy Status in 2018 and reached the highest level, Platinum Status in 2020.

She enjoys the challenge of helping women and men with their hormone issues and believes in the products that BioTE Medical provides.

Dr. Truelock is active with our local hospital, Peterson Regional Medical Center, serving on the Medical Executive Board in 2008-2015, Chief of Surgery Department in 2009-2010, and Chief of Staff 2014-2015.

Dr. Truelock is married to Randy and has two active boys, Garrett and Gavin. She enjoys playing tennis, soccer, spending time with family and friends and being active in our local community. She is musician and has participated with our Symphony of the Hills, playing both oboe and English horn, and participates in many local organizations including Executive Women’s Club.

She is an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Kerrville.

Lori Pruitt, FNP

Lori obtained her undergraduate degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas in 1999.

She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing also through Texas Tech University in 2018.

Lori is an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and enjoys helping women be successful in their breast feeding journey.

She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree through Texas Tech University and is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She joined Regenesis- A Center for Vitality and Wellness in Kerrville, Texas as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019.

Lori has been in nursing since 1999 and spent 20 years working in women’s health care and Labor and Delivery Unit at Peterson Regional Medical Center.

She was very involved at our local hospital,

enjoying her time as the Clinical Supervisor in the Women’s Services Department for 13 years and served on the Nursing Peer Review Committee for 8 years, acting as the Chairman of this committee for 4 of those years.

Lori was named Peterson Regional Medical Center’s Nurse of the Year in 2013.

Lori has lived and worked in Kerrville, Texas since 2001.

She is originally from Odessa, Texas.

She is married to Patrick and together, they have two amazing daughters, Peyton and Logan.

She also has two dogs, Cookie and Coal.

Lori enjoys traveling, a good cup of coffee and snow skiing.

Each of her favorite activities is best enjoyed with her family and close friends.
