Leonardo Almaguer studied medicine in Cuba, graduating in 1997, a general practitioner. A few years later, he specialized in family medicine and started practicing it. But, his passion for medicine drove him back to school to get his third specialization in Nephrology and subsequently in Intensive Medicine.
After years of studying and practicing medicine in Cuba, Leonardo decided to immigrate to the United States. Since his arrival in 2012, Leonardo re-initiated his studies to become a healthcare professional in the US.
Serving his community as a healthcare professional is Leonardo’s mission. Becoming the owner of Clinica de Luz has been a dream turned into reality after several years of study and hard work.
