Matthew St. Laurent, MD

Dr. Matthew St. Laurent is a proud native of Houston, Texas. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the honors program at Texas A&M University with a degree in Biochemistry. Afterwards, he received his medical degree at Texas A&M University College of Medicine where he was recognized for surgical honors and graduated in the top of his class. Dr. St. Laurent subsequently completed his surgical training at the University of Texas Health Service Center in San Antonio, Texas. In addition to being named Bariatric Medical Director at Cy-Fair Medical Center, Dr. St. Laurent holds the position of Bariatric Medical Director at Journey Lite of Houston. He looks forward to working with hormone patients to complete the journey to a healthy life.

Amber Baker, DNP, NP-C

Dr. Baker is board-certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees at the University of Utah.

Dr. Baker has been working in the care of weight management and bariatric surgery for over 20 years and providing hormone care as a Legacy Provider for BioTe for over 10 years.

Dr. Baker understands the patient experience and strives to treat clients with empathy, respect, and knowledge. She has seen the difference that hormone treatment makes in the lives of her patients and strives to be an advocate for evidence-based care in hormone therapy. She believes in more than “balancing hormones” but treating the holistic patient to improve overall health and longevity.
