Mauro Provencio, MD

Dr. Mauro Provencio Jr. is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and Sports Medicine specialist proudly serving the El Paso community. A native El Pasoan, he earned his Bachelor of Science from UTEP, his Medical Doctor degree from La Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez, and completed his residency at the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. In 2012, he founded his family medicine practice on El Paso’s Eastside, focusing on personalized care and building lasting patient relationships.

Dr. Provencio is fluent in English and Spanish and is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, and Society of Hospital Medicine. Since 2008, he has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor, training medical students from institutions like Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine, Texas Tech, and UTMB through hands-on mentorship and clinical instruction.
