Dr. Zahorecz was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine in Genetics, and earned his medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. Working as an Emergency Medical Technician in the busy 911 system of Los Angeles County piqued his interest in Emergency Medicine, leading to an Emergency Medicine residency was at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Loma Linda Children’s Hospital. Before returning to Texas in 2019, he was the Medical Director for Disaster Response at Riverside University Medical Center. He is currently the Brigade Surgeon for the Special Operations Detachment – North and has deployed with the US Army Special Operations Command in support of operations in Afghanistan where he earned the Bronze Star and Combat Medical Badge for actions in combat.
Living in the Argyle area, Urgent Care medicine keeps Dr. Zahorecz connected to his patients and his community. Outside of the healthcare setting, Dr. Zahorecz spends time with his beautiful wife and three daughters, and continues to serve in the Army National Guard.
Dr. Fleming was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. Working as an EEG technician piqued his interest in medicine. After returning to college and completing his undergraduate degree at Newman University in Wichita, he attended University of Kansas Medical school for his Medical Degree. Emergency Medicine Residency at Parkland brought him to Texas and he never wants to leave. As Medical Director for Flower Mound Fire Department EMS, he is involved through the duration of patient care. Emergent and Urgent medicine keeps his passion for people and medicine strong, allowing him to take care of a broad spectrum of patients with medical issues that may need rapid intervention, or sometimes education and reassurance.
Outside of the healthcare setting, Dr. Fleming spends time with his wife and four daughters along with their extracurricular activities. His remaining free time is spent playing hockey and doing long distance bicycle rides.
